Primary Description: 
Colorless glass, no obvious bubbles; blown, relief-cut. Fragment from wall of vessel with globular body. Wall (Th. 0.1. cm) curves out, down, and in. Decoration (Th. 0.1 cm) consists of two identical lions standing on their hind legs and facing one another. Each lion had head shown in twisted perspective, with two eyes represented by countersunk dots and two narrow, pointed ears; neck and body are in profile; front leg is raised and back leg is extended downward; tail curls at tip. Between lions’ hind legs is one downward-pointing palmette. Minute parts of other motifs survive above and between lions’ heads, behind lion on right, and below palmette. Outlines of lions and palmette are notched, feet are hatched, and heads have incised details.
