Primary Description: 
Transparent very heavy red glass with purple tinge; free-blown and cut. Solid almost flat foot, slightly concave at base, curving into an eight-paneled stem, stem in turn curving into ogee or broad bell bowl; the panels terminate in an arch at lower body; the object has been joined together at lower stem which shows a fine horizontal line with the ridges of each panel having very small miter cuts; rim irregularly ground.
