Colorless, white, and black glass, blown and hot-worked. The bird's body is blown of colorless glass with "combed" or "fenicio" transparent white cane decoration with two stripes of transparent black down the back; the beak, feet, and tail are hot-worked applications in opaque white glass; the eyes are opaque black glass; the crest feathers are applied in opaque white and black glass; the bird stands on a hot-worked colorless base with embedded white canes; rough pontil.
