Primary Description:
Inkwell and Lid. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Circular squat well cut with closely-spaced vertical lines and C-scrolls, top rim and base ground and polished flat, polished pontil mark on base, acid-stamped "HAWKES", circular hollow lid cut with a frame of fine diamonds around a circle engraved with a crossed torch, bow and quiver, a helmet and flowers, and ribbons, rim which fits over rim of well, cut and polished.
