Medal Commemorating the Journée du Poilu. (a) Bronze; cast. Circular medal showing nude male facing a large eagle. Man has one arm raised to bird's neck. Medal inscribed, "JOURNEE DU POILU / 1915". Reverse shows branch with leaves and very small berries. Inscribed, "26 25 / DECEMBRE / 1915". (b) Gray cardboard box bottom. (c) Gray cardboard box top inscribed, "LALIQUE / PARIS".
