Clear very bubbly glass with very slight grey tinge; free-blown, enameled and gilded. Almost cylindrical body with pushed up base, having rough pontil mark, applied foot ring; enamel decoration: the glass is divided into two zones showing the equestrian German Emperor and the Electors, all on white horses proceeding to the left, clad in their official garments and with their symbols accompanied by their names; they are framed in squares by column-like blue, red and white lines; grass strip and grass tufts around the lower portion of each zone; one panel of the lower zone is occupied by the double eagle in black, above it is the date: "1634"; small white star-like ornaments are placed in the empty spaces; each panel has a number starting with the Elector of Trier and ending with the Elector of Brandenburg (the Elector of Bohemia is missing); below rim a gold band (partly rubbed off), accompanied above by white lines, a U-shaped line and, below, by three rows of white beads.
