Primary Description: 
(a) Opal, green, and colorless glass with iridescent surface decoration; blown, with applied rim band. Hemispherical shape with flared opening for bulb; eight light green rays radiate from flared opening across darker green ground toward base of shade; inside of this section of shade is opalescent; rim band at base consists of green thread; broad colorless band with intertwined zig-zag lines of opal and green and silvery-blue surface iridescence; and second green thread forming base rim; signed inside upper flared opening in block letters "L.C.T.". (b) Bronze; cast, patinated. Bell-shape light bulb socket- holder supported by yoke on tall cylindrical stem ending in disk-shape base; the socket-holder with seven circular ornaments surrounding it, each ornament consisting of a possibly engraved circle surrounding seven holes which penetrate the wall of the socket- holder; the socket-holder attached to the yoke so that it will pivot; the stem and base decorated with overlapping leaf-like elements; four impressions along edge of base possibly for cigarettes; signed under base in block letters: "TIFFANY STUDIOS/NEW YORK/590"; wiring not contemporary with manufacture of lamp.
