Olive green non-lead glass; mold-blown. Cylindrical shape with applied flat collar, straight neck; rounded shoulders with molded "PATENT" on one side, straight sides showing two faint mold lines; circular base with depression and graphite pontil mark and molded inscription "DYOTTVILLE GLASS WORKS PHILAD.A" around outer rim of base. Paper label "F. C. ---HIR/MADEIRA/ SOLD BY/THOS. H. JACOBS & CO/No 81 Dock Street/PHILADELPHIA" (first word is illegible).
