Colorless, transparent cobalt blue, translucent yellow, red-orange and blue-green non-lead glasses; blown with hot applications, ground, polished. Sculpture comprised of three colorless vessels decorated with high-relief colored applications; low ovoid base section, with uneven rim (contains two tall cylindrical vessels); decorated on one side with torso of horse with red glass application; on opposite side a walking blue-green dog; rough base encrusted with sand or refractory granules; tallest cylinder has tapered neck, narrow opening, applied red head and neck of horse that fits over body applied to base section, opposite and higher is applied abstract yellow bird, no base; smaller cylinder has wide cylindrical opening and tapers in towards base; applied cobalt blue figure (facing cylinder) with arms encircling vessel, this piece fits in base container at rear of horse ; all vessel rims ground and polished flat; no pontils; unsigned.
