DIED APRIL 15TH 1865. LINCOLN”; pressed on the Garfield side: “BORN NOV. 19TH 1831. ASSASINATED JULY 2ND 1881. DIED SEPT 19TH 1881 GARFIELD”; pressed on underside into the bottom so you can read it from the inside: “OUR COUNTRIES MARTYRS”
