Primary Description: 
Miniature Covered Tankard. Colorless and opaque white glass, silver, remnants of gilding; blown and hot-worked glass with applied handle; chased and repousse silver. Vetro a fili and vetro a retortoli, colorless glass with lattimo threads and bundles of twisted lattimo threads, globular form with narrower, cylindrical neck, foot-ring blown from the mantle, slight kick in base, handle from a trail of clear glass, ending in a knop, with traces of gilding; mount: chased and repousse silver, decoration on lid of radially arranged teardrop patterns.
