Compote. Nubian black and opaque white glass; blown, applied, acid-etched, cut. Shallow bowl blown of black glass with a thin thread of white applied to the rim; acid-etched decoration of flowers and leaves on shoulder, applied capstan-shaped knop, applied solid drawn stem and applied flat circular foot with polished pontil mark underneath.
