Bowl, "Opal Basket". Opalescent, opaque white, deep red non-lead glass; blown. Hollow spherical shape with opening at top, blown of opalescent glass which is nearly colorless at top and nearly opaque at bottom; deep red threads around "equator" of piece, white threads around rim of opening, rough pontil mark; signed "Chihuly, '77" in script near pontil.
