Paperweight with Concentric Millefiori Mushroom. Colorless, polychrome lead glasses; fused murrine; furnace-worked and cased; cut. paperweight, millefiori, cut. Domed, circular form, cut circular concave facet on top; encircled by a ring of seven smaller circular facets, and six large circular facets on the sides; enclosing a mushroom of millefiori canes arranged in five concentric rings encircling a horse silhouette cane; one cane inscribed "SL/1848" between the two outer rows; the mushroom encircled at the base with a blue and white filigree torsade; the base polished, concave, with a small cut star.
