Primary Description: 
Paperweight of colorless lead glass of tapering shape. It is enclosing a sulphide bust of Mahatma Gandhi in terra cotta colored ceramic facing right, his tunic with a white ceramic overlay. The bust is inscribed along the lower edge in capital letters "GP", "GHANDI","CA". The surface of the paperweight is decorated along the side with twelve long flutes and on the top with a large concave circle. The base is slightly concave and cut with concentric rays around central polished circle acid-stamped "CR. ALBRET" and "FRANCE." The flute a 4 o'clock from the bust shows a paper label imprinted in gold on black "Cristal d'Albret" surrounding "Made in France." b) The square cardboard box is covered in white linen-printed paper and imprinted on top of the hinged lid '"Gandhi/by G. Poillerat/*/CRISTAL D"ALBRET/ France." In the right corner is P.J. (probably for Paul Jokelson.)
