Colorless lead glass; blown, copper wheel engraved. Deep conical bowl, with flattened base decorated with six standing engraved penguins (one group of three, a pair, a single looking down at a thorned plant); fire-polished rim; solid stem with bladed knop, flattened slightly conical foot; ground and polished pontil; inscribed in script in pontil area: "Alison/Geissler".
