Silver, paper, velvet; hand-struck. Flat circular medal with inscription "Awarded to/ P.C. Dummer/ & Co./ FOR/ CUT-GLASS/1846" on one side and "AMERICAN INSTITUTE/NEW YORK/R.LOVETT" and a seated female figure, perhaps of Fame, holding a laurel wreath on the other.
