Transparent blue tint, colorless non-lead glass; white metal, aluminosilicate, borosilicate; mold blown by machine, pressed; a) bulbous shape; machine finished top rim with pinched and curled lip; rim rounds out to form neck; metal band around circumference of pot at base of neck; detachable colorless handle attached by metal attachment, band and two screws; PYREX FLAMEWARE trademark stamped into top of metal attachment; neck of pot gradually rounds out to form body; body tapers in at bottom; base flat; b) flange knob; top of lid domed; circular rim of greater diameter than cylindrical insert; old catalog number "75.129d" inscribed in black ink underneath rim; insert has two semicircular tabs, one opposite the other; "PYREX" pressed into the underside of the lid, raised circle of glass in center of lid underside that is the diameter of the flange.
