Primary Description: 
Colorless, opaque black, blue, white lead glasses; flameworked glass and Kugler colors (shards, powder, filigree cane), acrylic gesso paint and fused into glass. (A) Small tear-drop shape bottle, flared opening, opaque pale blue lip wrap; glossy black interior; black exterior with overall tan crackle surface, wide irregular central band comprised of overlaid black shards decorated with free-form patterning of canes, raised bosses, one large and several small raised "eyes;" flattened, slightly concave base; (B,C) small straight-sided beakers, opaque blue rim wrap tapering slightly towards concave base, overall tan crackle effect over black; inscribed in script on side of bottle within black band: "Frederick/Birkhill 1990".
