Primary Description: 
Opaque white lead glass; blown, enameled. Flattened pear shape; short, flared neck, with blue dash decoration arranged in triangular sections; slender, rounded shoulders, above a waisted section, and bulbous lower section; enameled elaborate scrollwork in lavender and light yellow-green on one face, framing the name "J. Coates;" in black enamel; the reverse side with a colorful floral bouquet, leaves, and a butterfly; oval pad foot with rough pontil mark.
