Primary Description:

Transparent solid pale bluish-gray glass; molded and engraved. The Buddha in traditional Siamese iconographical style of Maravijaya (Victory over Mara: Indian, bhumisparsa mudra, "Calling the Earth to Witness"); features and details of the monastic robe engraved; some minute bubbles; minute hole at top of head; rough base and heavy pontil-like mark; originally gilded.
