(a) Translucent greenish-blue glass, gold enamel; circular form; short wide neck, level rim, level oval base, each face cut with three facets and decorated with gold-enameled floral forms within a ring of gold, thick sides cut with three facets each and decorated with gold floral forms, continuing over shoulders and neck, on base incised and gilded inscription "Tongzhi Nianzhi" (Made in the Tongzhi [Tung chih] Era). (b) New cork stopper, spoon of very dark brown, lightly polished wood, gilt metal disc, gilt-filigree cap.
