Primary Description: 
Vase. Opaque white non-led glass, cased with transparent blue -- white core causing the blue to appear opaque and lighter in hue --; free-blown with applied decoration. Cased acorn-shaped body, cylindrical neck with flaring rim, applied wide-spaced white ribbons, spiraled on neck to picoted white rim; applied short double ball-knop stem; cased flat circular foot with applied white edge and, on base, tiny rough pontil mark; applied finely- ribbed sapphire-blue hook-shaped handles tapering from rim to broad attachment below shoulder, decorated with applied opalescent crimped or quilled band terminating at top in scrolled end.
