Lead glass, colorless; free-blown, with molded ribs on bowl, engraved; deep straight-sided bowl with slightly flaring rim and rounding at bottom to applied short button-knopped stem and circular foot with rough pontil mark; lower part of bowl with gadroon-ribbed cup-casing; upper part with engraved decorations at top, alternate polished disc and four-oval motif on ribbon band with zigzag-and-drop picot; depending from band, three fringed deep swags with polished leaf sprays curving from flower at center; in center of space between band and swags, large sunflower with polished center; depending between swags, four-petaled flower at end of long stem with opposing blade-like leaves.
