Description

Primary Description: 
Globular bowl with short cylindrical neck with fire-polished rim; joined by merese to blown baluster atop a second merese and blown inverted baluster attached by merese to domed and waisted blown foot with infolded rim. Conical flanged lid with solid ball finial. Both bowl and lid each with two small loops strung together with modern red-colored thread with seal and card-board label inscribed: “1983/951”. Vessel contains hair(?) and paper label inscribed: “Ex OSS E Carne .... P.B. CRISPINI a VITERBE”.
