Vessel Stamp. Translucent dark green glass; applied, stamped. Circular disc attached to rim and side of vessel; on upper surface, four lines of Arabic in low relief, the first of which is almost entirely missing. Translation: "[In the name of Allah?]/at the hands of Muhammad/b. Shurahbil, one-half/qist, full measure". [See External Object File 59.1.295-411 for Arabic inscription.]
