Primary Description: 
Very deep brown (almost black) jasperware with opaque white appliqués. Vessel thrown; handles attached; decoration molded and applied; ground and polished. Form and composition of ornament are similar to 92.7.2 and very similar indeed to 92.7.3. The figure on the underside of the base is aligned so that the top of the head is beneath figure C. Stamped ".WEDGWOOD." on edge of base below tree behind figure D and with short vertical line impressed to right of stamp.
