Lars Hansson

Lars Hansson is a researcher on migration and labor history from a global perspective. In addition to writing he has also worked with oral history and research circles in various projects, and was one of the founders of the network ‘Oral History in Sweden’ 2012. His research areas include class relations in the meatpacking industry in Sweden, the Paper Workers' Union’s history, Finnish immigration to the Kingdom of Crystal in Småland, Swedish emigration to Denmark and Germany, and Finnish immigration to Gothenburg. He has also produced exhibitions based on his research, the latest on Finnish migration to Gothenburg 1945–2018.

Hansson is a featured speaker at the 57th Annual Seminar on Glass at The Corning Museum of Glass.
