Lorin Silverman

Lorin Silverman is a NYC glass artist who started working with glass in his early teens.  He received his BFA in Glass from Alfred University and has studied with Italian maestros Dino Rossin, Pino Signoretto, and the late Elio Quarisa.  He is a frequent instructor at The Corning Museum of Glass.  In addition to making his own glass art, Silverman works with artists and designers who use glass as a medium, helping them create their work.

Silverman’s work has been exhibited at galleries in NYC, Philadelphia, Virginia and at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass.  His work is also in several private collections.  He has been a demonstrating artist at Urban Glass in NYC, The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass, and Hudson Beach Glass in Philadelphia.
