Through demonstration and ample experimentation, students will explore some of the basics for making a borosilicate marble, such as encasement and tubing implosions, to create a tiny world within. Materials used may include gold, silver, copper, dichroic glass, Herkimer diamonds, volcanic pebbles, and a wide spectrum of colored glass. Student questions will guide the demonstrations and discussion topics. This class will use borosilicate (hard) glass. 

All levels are welcome. Some torch experience is preferred, but not necessary.
