Learn and improve kiln fusing skills, focusing on smaller forms using pattern bars, reactive glass, and layering. Metals used will be bronze and silver, both in clay form, a relatively new material that fires in a kiln. Traditional metalsmithing techniques like rivets and wire fabrication will be used to transform the glass and metal pieces into finished jewelry. Visits to the Museum will add to students’ design repertoire. 

This class is open to all skill levels.
