Colder, Warmer, Hotter: Kiln Working Techniques for the Hot Shop

The goal of this class is to experiment with patterns that can only be created through kiln fusing and then bringing those patterns into the hot shop! Students will be guided through class projects utilizing different kiln fusing and moldmaking techniques. These projects will then be brought to the hot shop and furnace worked. Ideally, students will complete the class with extra components for future hot shop use. This class will utilize 96 COE compatible glass. Approximately 60% of the class time will be dedicated to kiln working, and 40% to furnace working. This class meets on Monday evenings for ten weeks beginning March 4th.

All skill levels are welcome.
