This class focuses on reinforcing the important foundations of glassblowing by breaking down the steps into simple lessons. Intermediate and advanced students will find challenges throughout the course and learn that everything has a cause and effect in the glassmaking process. Students shouuld come prepared to learn and have fun! This class meets at The Studio on Monday evenings for ten weeks beginning March 1, 2021. One year of glassblowing experience is required, advanced students are also welcome.

For the wellbeing of all students and staff, The Studio workshops have been modified, class capacity has been reduced, and sanitizing and social distancing protocols have been introduced. Detailed information about these measures can be found on The Studio Health and Safety page.

Students registered for this class must comply with the New York State COVID-19 Travel Advisory and Museum guidelines. Because NY State strongly discourages non-essential interstate travel this class is currently only open to NY State residents.
