Weekend Workshop

Students will have an opportunity to cut and assemble beautiful mosaic designs out of glass. The projects will then be "grouted" with powdered glass enamels. Once the glass is fired in a kiln, the results reveal a mosaic piece with an added benefit of a smooth finish. The class will focus on cutting techniques, composition, and the usage of color. Students will have the option to alter the shape of final pieces by slumping them into three-dimensional molds. 

All skill levels are welcome.
