Capture the buzz of summer in flameworked insects! Learn sculpting techniques from two master glass entomologists and improve your heat control while working with soda-lime glass. Some demonstrations will be inspired by mini field trips near campus to explore field and stream for local endemic species. Go home with a bee that doesn't sting and skills that can be applied to any flameworking project. Instructors will be teaching with soft glass, but students are welcome to use borosilicate if they prefer.

Basic flameworking experience is required.
