During this flameworking course, students will learn how to make a soda lime glass goblet using a mini blowpipe. The goblet will be analyzed and explained in every part: cup, avolio, stem, and foot. Great attention will also be paid to the connections that are fundamental to a strong and straight goblet. Students will receive individual instruction, followed by step-by-step instruction into the evolution and the technical developments. Instructor demonstrations and explanations will also encompass various encasing techniques. This course will work exclusively with soda lime (soft) glass.

At least one year of flameworking experience is required.
