One-Week Session

Through instructor demonstrations and guided, hands-on practice time, students will use the goblet as a form to expand their skills with both hollows and solids in borosilicate glass on the torch. Making goblets requires the ultimate control of the material. By learning to control specific cup, stem, and foot forms, students will increase their efficiency and accuracy with all forms they may wish to pursue.

A comprehensive variety of cup, stem, and foot forms as well as different styles of attachments and color applications will be covered.

This class uses borosilicate (hard) glass.

This class is intended for students with some experience working with hollow forms. Advanced students are also welcome.
