Graftwerk: Encalmo Intensive

Weekend Workshop

This class will explore all the variations of the incalmo glass process, and perhaps, discover new ones. Incalmo is the technique of fusing two or more blown glass elements together. Students will focus on details, designs, and the hows and whys of this technique. Come prepared with ideas new and old and let’s get grafty! One year of glassblowing experience is required.

For the wellbeing of all students and staff, The Studio workshops have been modified, class capacity has been reduced, and sanitizing and social distancing protocols have been introduced. Detailed information about these measures can be found on The Studio Health and Safety page.

Students registered for this class must comply with the New York State COVID-19 Travel Advisory and Museum guidelines. Because NY State strongly discourages non-essential interstate travel this class is currently only open to NY State residents.
