This course will be an introduction to glass lathe flameworking. The course will cover proper machine maintenance and operation as well as basic lathe fabrication techniques. Lathe flameworking approaches, tips, and tricks will be used to focus on assembling a drinking vessel that students will take home along with a strong foundation in latheworktheory and technique. This class uses borosilicate (hard) glass.

No latheworking experience is necessary, but flameworking experience is helpful.
