One-Week Session

This six-day class will explore transferring image onto glass using the technique pâte de verre. French for “paste of glass,” this technique allows artists to color, selectively, kiln-formed glass, making it the perfect tool for image transfer. Using a variety of image manipulation and transfer tools, students will learn ways to create manipulated image and text on flat glass. In-depth demos will cover both screen printing and paper transfer techniques, and students can expect to leave with a set of samples along with class projects. Class takes place from 9 am - 5 pm with no evening practice hours. All skill levels are welcome.
