Students will learn strategies to help them with soft glass bead shaping and marvering. This class will cover eleven basic bead shapes in multiple sizes. Heat management will be stressed. Students will also learn how to combine these shapes to make more complicated forms. This class uses soda lime (soft) glass.

Basic bead making will not be taught; students must be able to put glass on the mandrel and make a basic bead.
