Are you tired of making glass vessels? Does the thought of making another Tumbler or bowl fill you with dread? Do you ever look at a vase and wish it looked more like a wombat? Well have we a class for you! Get rid of those pesky blowpipes as you learn the finer points of pushing, pulling, pinching and shaping your way into becoming a glass sculptor. Learn how to add bits of hot glass to objects to transform them into creatures with a variety of stamps and crimps! Discover the finer points of the Oxy-Gas torch as you use it to spot heat areas of your creations to add detail. This is an intermediate glassblowing course. Students should have a basic understanding of the tools and process, keep glass on-center, and be able to marver.

For the wellbeing of all students and staff, The Studio workshops have been modified, class capacity has been reduced, and sanitizing and social distancing protocols have been introduced. Detailed information about these measures can be found on The Studio Health and Safety page.
