Learn how to carve, shape, polish, embellish, and finish glass by working with the lathes, lap wheels, and other cold–shop tools. Explore pattern making and traditional techniques through demonstrations and guided practice, which illustrates the efficient grinding and polishing of flat and curved surfaces. Surface carving techniques will be used to create a variety of decorative effects on glass. Students will leave the class with the foundation to coldwork their glass like a pro. This class meets on Thursday evenings for ten weeks beginning March 7th. 

No glassworking experience is required. All skill levels welcome.
