This weekend class will break down the process of making hot glass murrine in three steps: pulling canes, bundling the canes into a cluster to form a pattern, and pulling the bundle into a bar of murrine. This murrine can then be used in the hot shop again, or in kiln work, or even on the torch! Some hot glass experience is required; students must be somewhat comfortable taking a hot gather. Advanced students are also welcome.
