Angelo Rossi Guest Artist Demo

See guest artist Angelo Rossi in a live, narrated demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop April 19 through 21 from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm.

Angelo Rossi was born in Venice, Italy and learned the art of glassmaking from Italian maestros and his own father. Rossi is particularly known for his cranberry glass which is created with 22 karat gold and is sought after by other makers and collectors alike.

These demos are included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).

Angelo Rossi

Born in Venice, Italy, Angelo Rossi comes from a family with a long history in glassmaking. He began his career at age 10 in Murano, Italy, under the watchful eye of his father. Over his long career, Rossi has been a teacher and mentor to many, and his sculptured glass work, especially his “cranberry glass,” is known around the world.
