Behind the Glass Lecture: Albert Paley
American sculptor Albert Paley is best known for his large-scale works in metal, and was selected as the first artist to participate in the Specialty Glass Artist Residency Program, a collaboration between The Corning Museum of Glass and Corning Incorporated.
Hear Paley speak of his residency work, collaborating with glassmakers, curators, and scientists to explore the use of specialty glass, Corning Code 7056 with a metal alloy, Kovar. Drop in and watch Paley at work on the next phase of his residency April 15, 17, and 18 in the new Amphitheater Hot Shop.
