Drop in to the new Amphitheater Hot Shop to see Albert Paley at work on the next phase of his residency on April 15, 17, and 18. 

Albert Paley is an American sculptor who is best known for his large-scale works in metal, and was selected as the first artist to participate in the Specialty Glass Artist Residency Program, a collaboration between The Corning Museum of Glass and Corning Incorporated.

Hear Paley speak about his residency work, collaborating with glassmakers, curators, and scientists to explore the use of specialty glass, Corning Code 7056 with a metal alloy called Kovar during his Behind the Glass lecture on April 16 at 6 pm in the Museum Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.
