James Mongrain Guest Artist Demo

Kick off 2018 in a big way and see guest artist James Mongrain during live, narrated demonstrations in the Amphitheater Hot Shop January 14 through 16 from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm.

James Mongrain was born in Minnesota and introduced to glass while attending Moorhead State University. He was able to study under his brother, Jeff Mongrain, an internationally-known artist. Though he’s studied and worked all around the country, one thing remains constant for Mongrain; his proficiency and talent for goblet making. He focuses on the technicality of the traditional Venetian technique, an aesthetic that continues to be his muse.

These demos are included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).
