This week features John Miller, Kristina Logan, Stephanie Trenchard, and Jeremy Popelka in the Studio Faculty Presentations series.

Hear from some of the best-known glassmakers in the world through free, informal public lectures by Studio faculty, Tuesday nights throughout the winter class sessions.

Kristina Logan

Kristina Logan is recognized internationally for her precisely patterned and delicate glass beads. She travels throughout the world teaching workshops and lecturing on contemporary glass beads and jewelry.

John Miller

John Miller

John Miller has been working in glass for more than 20 years and focuses on blown sculpture. He earned his MFA at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has worked at Pilchuck Glass School for 15 years. He exhibits internationally, lectures and demonstrates nationally, and is an assistant professor and head of the glass department at Illinois State University.

Jeremy Popelka

Jeremy Popelka

Jeremy Popelka has been working with glass for more than 30 years and calls Sturgeon Bay, Wis., on the Door Peninsula, home, along with his partner and wife, artist Stephanie Trenchard. Popelka has navigated his education in the glass field, with some of the luminaries in the field, including Dale Chihuly, Bertil Vallien, Erwin Eisch, Joel Philip Myers, Marvin Lipofsky, and Clifford Rainey.

Stephanie Trenchard

Stephanie Trenchard works out of the Wisconsin studio that she shares with husband, Jeremy Popelka. An oil painter as well as a glass artist, Trenchard holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in painting from Illinois State University.
