Didier Tisseyre
Didier Tisseyre first studied fine art in Aix en Provence. He discovered glass as a material at the Centre International du Verre et Arts Plastiques (CIRVA) in Marseille and went on to study casting techniques with a F.I.A.C.R.E. grant in the Czech Republic. Tisseyre also traveled to Brazil, Africa, and India, while working on textiles projects with communities. After his travels, he created a studio in Provence.
Tisseyre currently uses the casting know-how of Czech studios to give three-dimensional life to the signs and figures that he usually first draws on paper or paints on canvas.

The Corning Museum of Glass partnered with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to present GlassLab, the Museum's design program, in Paris, in the Tuileries Garden, October 22-27, 2013. French designer Didier Tisseyre worked with GlassLab glassmakers to explore encasing graphic copper elements in blown glass.
